Honda Passport HRC: The SUV Transformed into an Off-Road Beast for SEMA 2025

Honda Racing turns the Passport TrailSport into a radical off-road machine, ready to tackle any terrain.

The Honda Passport was already one of the brand’s most balanced SUVs, but at the SEMA Show 2025, Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has taken it to the next level. This new off-road concept has undergone a comprehensive transformation in both design and performance, with a clear goal: to showcase Honda’s off-road potential without losing the model’s signature style.

The vehicle features a matte Thermal Orange paint job with a contrasting black roof and redesigned bumpers that improve approach and departure angles. It also includes custom wheels, extended aluminum skid plates, and a 60 mm suspension lift, giving it an imposing stance and enhanced capability in challenging environments.

Ready for Extreme Adventures

HRC’s work goes beyond aesthetics: this Passport HRC Concept includes an 8,000-pound winch, integrated air compressor, and a full off-road lighting setup (roof LED bar, fog lights, rear chase lights), ensuring optimal visibility in any situation. Even the underbody is better protected with extended skid plates shielding the center bearing, driveshaft, and rear drive unit. Mechanically, new front and rear dampers paired with a custom exhaust system enhance handling and resilience in extreme conditions. This concept embodies Honda’s racing philosophy, blending precision engineering with the durability needed for the toughest terrains.

Inside, the Passport HRC stands out with blue Alcantara inserts, HRC badges, and custom accessory mounting panels, designed for maximum practicality.
