G-Power G8M Bi-Turbo: 820 hp and 1,000 Nm with a Striking Green and Gold Design

G-Power has specialized in optimizing BMW M models for more than four decades. Recently, they thoroughly revised the F92 M8 Coupé, resulting in the G8M Bi-TURBO. The 4.4-liter S63 V8 twin-turbo engine now produces an impressive 820 hp. Furthermore, the engine develops 1,000 Nm of torque.

Therefore, this performance increase is achieved through a combination of a modified engine control unit (ECU) and specific hardware adjustments. The GP-820 performance software ensures better torque development, optimizes response, and increases efficiency. Despite all this, G-Power maintains the original engine protection and diagnostic functions active.

Key Modifications: Turbo, Intercooler, and Exhaust

The core of the hardware optimizations lies in the GP-900 turbocharger upgrade. G-Power increases the air volume using larger impellers and revised housings on both the compressor and turbine sides. Likewise, a special gasket package allows for higher boost pressures. At the same time, optimized tolerances maximize system efficiency.

In addition, the tuner uses a G-Power high-performance intercooler. Regarding exhaust gases, the stainless steel GP-DEEPTONE system includes two tailpipes (100 and 110 mm). Finally, flow-optimized sports exhaust pipes with 200-cell metal catalysts reduce exhaust gas temperature, improve the sound, and optimize the turbocharger response.

Striking Visual Design and Functional Carbon Fiber

Visually, the G8M Bi-TURBO stands out with its dark green foiling. These are expertly combined with the G-Power HURRICANE RR forged wheels in Frozen Gold. The lightweight double-spoke wheels measure 9×21 and 10.5×21 inches and are fitted with Michelin 285/30 and 295/30 tires.

Moreover, other carbon fiber components actively improve driving dynamics. The GP-VENTURI RR bonnet, with its Dynamic Venting technology, improves ventilation. This optimizes the thermal management of the engine compartment. Similarly, the rear GP-DYNAMIC Wing RR spoiler provides additional downforce and stability.
