Fiat 500 Hybrid: Pricing and Details of the New Optimized Combustion Urban Car
The iconic Fiat city car is launching its standard range in Italy , thus completing the offer of its anticipated mild-hybrid version.
The new Fiat 500 Hybrid already has confirmed prices for Italy , which will likely be very similar to the rates in Spain. The starting price has been set at 19,900 euros , but promotions place it at 16,950 euros. In fact, the Fiat 500 Hybrid range is completed with the introduction of the standard version following the Torino launch edition.
The model is manufactured at the Mirafiori plant in Turin , sharing a production line with the electric 500e version upon which it is based. The new 500 Hybrid family consists of three different versions. Specifically, it includes the classic three-door, the cabrio, and the 3+1. This last variant, featuring a small right-side rear door , will be available for orders starting in 2026.
Trims and Standard Equipment
The trim offerings for the Fiat 500 Hybrid repeat the structure of the electric version , featuring four levels: Pop, Torino, Icon, and LaPrima. Firstly, the standard trim, called Pop, includes several functional elements. For example, it is equipped with 15-inch wheel covers, air conditioning, and cruise control. Furthermore, it integrates 7-inch digital instrumentation, LED taillights, rear parking sensors, and keyless start. It is important to note that the headlights are halogen in this version.
The special Torino trim significantly upgrades the basic equipment. This level adds 16-inch alloy wheels and full LED headlights. It also incorporates a multifunction steering wheel, a rain sensor, and automatic climate control. In terms of technology, it offers a 10.25-inch central screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For its part, the Icon adds the center console with a closed storage compartment.
The top-of-the-range LaPrima offers a superior level of premium features. It is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and tinted rear windows. It also includes chrome trim and a sunroof. Inside, it features heated front seats, an armrest with storage, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Regarding safety, it adds blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, and a rear camera. Finally, it is completed with navigation and a wireless smartphone charger.

Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
The Fiat 500 Hybrid is developed based on the platform of the electric 500e. Consequently, modifications were made to integrate the thermal engine and the hybrid technology. The system is a 12-volt mild hybrid , derived from the one used in the Pandina. This model uses the 1.0 FireFly three-cylinder engine. Although the power is reduced from 70 to 65 CV , it guarantees efficient driving in the city. The transmission is a six-speed manual, and the traction is on the front axle.
Regarding performance, the 500 Hybrid reaches a maximum speed of 155 km/h. In addition, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 16.2 seconds. The Cabrio version requires 17.2 seconds for the same measurement. Official data declares very low average consumption. In fact, consumption stands at 5.3 liters per 100 km. Its direct rivals in the urban segment are the Kia Picanto, the Hyundai Inster, and the BYD Dolphin Surf , along with the new Renault Twingo.
