Chevrolet Bolt 2027: The Electric Car with 410 km Range and Cutting-Edge Technology

By  |

The new Bolt arrives with improved range, connectivity, and comfort, solidifying its position as a benchmark for accessible electric mobility.

Chevrolet Relaunches the Bolt with Impressive Upgrades

General Motors confirms the return of the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt, an electric vehicle aiming to reclaim its position as a leader in accessible mobility. With a range of 410 km and fast charging that allows the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes, the Bolt presents a highly competitive option for drivers seeking efficiency and practicality without compromising technology. It also features a native NACS charging port, expanding connectivity options to public charging networks.

Next-Level Technology and Safety

The 2027 Bolt boasts a fully redesigned interior, featuring an 11.3-inch central touchscreen, 11-inch digital instrument panel, and Google built-in compatibility, along with apps like HBO Max and Prime Video. Safety-wise, it offers over 20 advanced assistance features, including intersection collision mitigation, rear automatic braking, and cross-traffic alert. The Super Cruise driver-assist system enables hands-free driving on compatible roads, making the Bolt one of the most advanced EVs on the market.

Efficient and Sustainable Powertrain

The new model introduces the X76 electric motor, developed in-house by GM to maximize efficiency and reduce production costs. This motor uses fewer rare earth elements and silicon carbide components, optimizing energy performance, while the combined regenerative braking system recovers energy even without engaging One-Pedal Driving mode. Thanks to a lighter and more durable propulsion system shared with ten other GM EVs, costs are reduced and passed on to the consumer.

Comfort and Interior/Exterior Design

The Bolt prioritizes comfort and space utilization, featuring heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, a heated steering wheel, and an optional panoramic roof. The column-mounted gear lever frees up central space, while new high-quality materials enhance the premium feel. Externally, the Bolt will be available in seven colors with 17-inch wheels, and for the first time, the RS version will offer black trim, exclusive wheels, and a distinctive Atomic Yellow color with red interior stitching.

Availability and Pricing

The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt will be assembled in the United States and arrive at North American dealerships in the first quarter of 2026. The LT version has a starting price of $29,990, with a lower-cost LT variant launching later from $28,995, positioning the Bolt as an affordable, high-tech, and efficient electric vehicle for the U.S. market.
