AUDI China Unveils Its Second Electric SUV: Huge and Exclusive
The new AUDI (China) brand presents the E SUV Concept, a fully electric SUV over 5 meters long designed for the Chinese market.

AUDI China E SUV Concept: Impressive Size and Design
The new AUDI (China) brand, created in collaboration with SAIC, has revealed its second model: the E SUV Concept, a massive SUV measuring 5.06 meters in length and 2.04 meters in width. Its 3.06-meter wheelbase ensures impressive rear legroom, catering to Chinese customers’ preference for spacious interiors. Like the E5 Sportback, this SUV abandons the classic four-ring Audi logo, featuring a completely new and exclusive design for China.
Futuristic and Striking Exterior

The design follows the philosophy of the E5 Sportback, featuring side cameras, a roof-mounted LiDAR, flush door handles, and C-shaped lights. The enormous 23-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 285/40 R23 tires enhance its imposing presence. The “monolithic, composed, and distinctive” aesthetic makes it stand out, even compared to the discontinued Q8 e-tron, emphasizing exclusivity and luxury.
Outstanding Battery and Range
The E SUV Concept is equipped with a 109 kWh battery, delivering over 700 km of range according to China’s CLTC cycle. Fast charging adds 320 km in just 10 minutes, offering efficient electric mobility for such a large vehicle. The Advanced Digital Platform (ADP), developed with SAIC, ensures advanced electric performance and full technological compatibility.
Performance and Quattro All-Wheel Drive
Although not a traditional Audi, the electric model retains the quattro name for the all-wheel-drive version, powered by two motors, one per axle. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds, despite its size and weight, combining dynamic performance with the efficiency of a luxury electric SUV.
Production and Launch
The SUV will be manufactured exclusively in China, with a market launch planned for 2026. The price has not yet been confirmed but is expected to exceed that of the E5 Sportback, which starts at €28,600. With this second model, AUDI China strengthens its commitment to large, luxurious, and technologically advanced electric vehicles designed for the local market.
