2026 Honda Pilot: The Three-Row SUV Gets Bigger Screens and a Refreshed Design
The 2026 Honda Pilot receives a mid-cycle refresh with subtle updates, more technology, and a more sophisticated interior.

Honda unveils the 2026 Pilot, a three-row SUV that receives a mid-cycle facelift, enhancing its exterior design, upgrading in-car technology, and adding more standard features. The front grille is now larger and less trapezoidal, while the front and rear scuff plates are more pronounced and come in silver or black, depending on the trim.
More Technology and Comfort Inside

The 2026 Pilot offers larger, more functional screens: the driver’s display now measures 10.2 inches, a 43% increase, while the infotainment screen grows 37% to 12.3 inches. The system includes software enhancements, Google Built-In, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with simplified navigation menus, providing a more intuitive and modern user experience.
Performance and Driving Dynamics
The 3.5-liter V6 engine remains the same, producing 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available and standard on TrailSport, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trims. Honda also improved steering feel and feedback by increasing on-center steering weight and recalibrating the electric power steering system, offering a more precise and confident driving experience.
Quieter and More Refined Cabin
The 2026 Pilot is quieter, reducing certain frequencies by up to three decibels, and features new semi-tempered door glass, additional door insulators, and a new hood insulator. Touring and Elite models also include enclosed fender liners, enhancing the sense of refinement and comfort, making the Pilot a more comfortable SUV for long trips and family driving.
Trims, Colors, and Expected Price
The SUV will be available in six trims: Sport, EX-L, Touring, TrailSport, Elite, and Black Edition, with new exterior colors such as Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl, while the TrailSport receives the exclusive Ash Green Metallic. Although Honda has not released official pricing for the 2026 Pilot, it is expected to be around $41,695, similar to the 2025 model, maintaining competitiveness in its segment while offering a balance of design, technology, and light off-road capability.
