Unplugged Performance Launches the UP-RW Cyber Road Warrior: The Ultimate Forged Wheel for the Tesla Cybertruck

The leading Tesla tuning firm presents a 20-inch wheel that combines extreme strength with superior aerodynamic efficiency. Designed to withstand the electric pickup’s massive torque and towing demands, this solution promises to be “practically indestructible.”

Unplugged Performance (UP) has officially announced the launch of the UP Forged UP-RW, nicknamed the Cyber Road Warrior. This new component was developed specifically to meet the structural challenges of the Tesla Cybertruck, a vehicle that, due to its mass and power, requires aerospace-grade components. The wheel is now available for pre-order at a price of $3,195 for a set of four, with the first deliveries scheduled for late December 2025.

Forged Engineering Against the Limits of the Asphalt

Unlike the cast wheels that come standard on the Cybertruck, the UP-RW is constructed through a 6061-T6 aluminum forging process. This method compacts the metal’s structure, drastically increasing its resistance to fatigue, cracks, and deformation under extreme loads. With a load capacity of 1,450 kg (3,197 lbs) per corner, these wheels are prepared for heavy labor and intense towing, offering far superior safety on uneven terrain.

One of the most valued innovations of the Road Warrior line is its replaceable curb-guard ring. This aluminum piece acts as a shield against cosmetic scuffs or impacts with rocks on off-road trails. The highlight is that the ring can be easily replaced without needing to dismount the tire, significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs and keeping the vehicle’s aesthetics flawless.

Range Without Compromises and Availability

The design of the UP-RW focuses not only on strength but also on aerodynamics. UP conducted a comparative test with three identical Cybertrucks to measure the impact on the battery. Results showed that the flat-face design of the Cyber Road Warrior offers efficiency similar to Tesla’s Core wheel (the brand’s most efficient) and outperforms the Foundation series Cyberwheel. This allows owners to enhance their truck’s robustness without sacrificing highway range.

The wheels are fully compatible with the standard 20-inch tires, facilitating a direct transition without additional rubber costs. Furthermore, Unplugged Performance backs this product with a lifetime warranty against structural cracks, reinforcing its promise of durability. Following the sell-out of the first December batch, a second round of orders is expected to be delivered between January and February 2026.
