The move comes as Toyota expects to sell more than five million hybrids worldwide this year.

Toyota plans to convert its battery production lines in Japan to manufacture the next generation of hybrid batteries during the 2027-2028 period.

According to the company, the new batteries will deliver:

The new model becomes the most powerful production side-by-side on the market, combining increased power with major drivetrain and cooling upgrades designed for extreme off-road conditions.

The 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost will arrive at dealerships in November in both two-seat and four-seat configurations.

Toyota has revealed the 2027 Toyota bZ, bringing back its all-electric SUV with an emphasis on everyday usability, long driving range and improved charging convenience. While the model carries over unchanged from the previous year, it continues to offer competitive range, modern technology and multiple drivetrain configurations.

The electric SUV is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships this September with a starting MSRP of $34,980.

Up to 314 Miles of Driving Range

The 2027 Toyota bZ is available with two battery options and both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations.

Toyota’s estimated driving ranges include:

  • 314 miles — XLE FWD Plus
  • 299 miles — Limited FWD
  • 299 miles — Limited AWD
  • 288 miles — XLE AWD
  • 236 miles — XLE FWD

Battery options include 57.7-kWh and 74.7-kWh packs depending on the trim level.

The 2027 Toyota bZ offers up to 314 miles of estimated electric driving range.

Faster Charging and More Power

Toyota equips every 2027 bZ with the North American Charging System (NACS), allowing access to most high-speed charging stations across the United States.

Additional charging features include:

  • Battery preconditioning.

  • DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes under ideal conditions.

Ram Unveils New Direct Connection Parts for Rumble Bee

Ram is expanding the 2027 Rumble Bee lineup with factory-backed Direct Connection performance parts, including superchargers, exhaust systems and suspension upgrades.

Ram is taking the 2027 Ram Rumble Bee lineup to the next level with a new range of Direct Connection factory-backed performance upgrades. Designed for enthusiasts who want more power, sharper handling and a more aggressive appearance, the new catalog includes supercharger kits, performance exhaust systems, suspension upgrades and exclusive graphics packages.

The new components will be available through Ram dealerships, with launches scheduled between late 2026 and the first half of 2027.

Supercharger Kits Push Power Beyond 900 HP

The highlight of the new Direct Connection lineup is a family of 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger kits developed for every HEMI-powered Rumble Bee model.

Projected power figures include:

  • Over 600 horsepower for the 5.7-liter HEMI V8.
  • Over 700 horsepower for the Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack.
  • More than 900 horsepower for the Rumble Bee SRT.

Each supercharger kit carries an MSRP of $10,995 before installation. When installed by an ASE-certified Mopar technician, Ram will maintain the original five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.

Direct Connection supercharger kits boost the Ram Rumble Bee lineup to as much as 900 horsepower.

Performance Exhaust and Suspension Upgrades

Direct Connection is also introducing Magnaflow stainless-steel cat-back exhaust systems for every Rumble Bee variant.

The systems feature:

  • Stainless-steel construction.
  • Three-inch mandrel-bent tubing.
  • X-pipe design.
  • Five-inch black chrome exhaust tips.

Pricing starts at $1,599 for the standard Rumble Bee and reaches $2,399 for the Rumble Bee SRT.

Meanwhile, a Ridetech suspension kit lowers the truck by one inch at the front and three inches at the rear while adding HQ-series coilovers with 24-way adjustable damping for improved handling. The package has an anticipated MSRP of $4,590.

New Direct Connection suspension and exhaust upgrades enhance the Ram Rumble Bee’s performance and appearance.

Exclusive Graphics Complete the Package

To complement the mechanical upgrades, Ram is also offering Direct Connection graphics packages with color-matched accents corresponding to each performance level.

The graphics feature low-gloss black finishes combined with:

  • Ceramic Gray for the 5.7-liter HEMI.
  • Flame Red for the 392 HEMI.
  • Rumble Bee Yellow for the SRT.

Additional exterior accents include customized grille badges and Brembo brake calipers on the showcase builds.

Launch Begins in Late 2026

The first Direct Connection upgrades, developed for the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 Rumble Bee, will arrive during the fourth quarter of 2026.

Performance parts for the Rumble Bee 392, 392 Track Pack and Rumble Bee SRT will follow during the first half of 2027, giving owners multiple ways to personalize and enhance their factory muscle trucks.

Direct Connection performance parts for the Ram Rumble Bee lineup will launch between late 2026 and early 2027.
