The Chevrolet S10 WorkTruck 2026: The Most Powerful Single Cab Pickup on the Market with 207 HP

By  |

Chevrolet has officially launched the new S10 WorkTruck (WT) 2026 Single Cab, designed for professionals and fleets.

The new S10 WT Single Cab line shares the robust design and renewed aesthetics of the entire S10 family. Its great differential lies in the engine. Consequently, this pickup is positioned as the most powerful in the Argentine market. It is equipped with a 2.8 L Duramax Turbodiesel engine.

The engine delivers a power of 207 HP and a torque of 46.9 kgm. Furthermore, the transmission is exclusively a 6-speed manual (MT6). This powerful mechanical setup is offered in versions with 4×2 rear-wheel simple traction or with 4×4 double traction. Thus, the vehicle adapts to the needs of any terrain.

Benchmark in Capacity and Dimensions

The S10 WT Single Cab is specifically designed for heavy-duty work. Therefore, it stands out remarkably for its transport capacity. The maximum payload capacity is 1,190 kilograms.

Additionally, the cargo box offers segment-leading dimensions: 2,317 mm long and 1,534 mm wide. This translates into a superior cargo volume. Regarding its overall dimensions, the total length is 5,365 mm and it features a robust wheelbase of 3,095 mm. Finally, the vehicle rides on steel wheels and 245/70 R16 inch tires to ensure greater durability in demanding working conditions.

Unprecedented Safety and Technology in a WorkTruck

Despite being a work version (WorkTruck), Chevrolet has integrated high-end active safety and comfort equipment. This clearly differentiates it from the competition. It includes Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Blind Spot Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The active safety suite is complete, including Electronic Stability Control (ECS), Traction Control (TCM), and Hill Descent Control (HDC). It also adds Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Trailer Sway Control (TSC). In terms of passive protection, it features front, side, and curtain airbags. On the other hand, the on-board technology is notable: the panel integrates a MyLink multimedia system with an 11-inch screen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Comfort is also a priority, with push-button start (Easy Start), air conditioning, cruise control, and a multifunction steering wheel adjustable for depth and height.
