New Mitsubishi ASX 2025: the Japanese SUV shaking up the segment for just €20,890 and a 5-year warranty
With a refreshed design, better equipment, and an aggressive price, the 2025 Mitsubishi ASX aims to regain ground in the highly competitive SUV market.
The Mitsubishi ASX 2025 arrives with strong arguments to stand out once again in the crowded urban SUV segment. Following its facelift and the introduction of a 160 hp hybrid version with an Eco label, the Japanese model not only boasts a more refined appearance but also a more efficient battery and improved fuel economy. With these updates, it positions itself as a well-balanced contender against direct rivals such as the Peugeot 2008, Ford Puma, and Toyota Yaris Cross.
Turbo engine, solid equipment, and a “C” emissions label
Under the bonnet, the entry-level ASX is powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine producing 91 hp and 160 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. It’s not a performance SUV — it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 14 seconds and reaches a top speed of 168 km/h — but it’s perfect for those seeking efficiency, reliability, and comfort for everyday driving. Its combined fuel consumption is a modest 5.8 litres per 100 km, making it an economical option for budget-conscious drivers.
The Motion trim level comes generously equipped, including six airbags, keyless entry and start, automatic climate control, rear-view camera, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.4-inch multimedia screen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the safety front, it also features forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, lane-keeping assist, Full LED headlights, and driver attention monitoring — a package on par with models from higher price brackets.

When it comes to practicality, the ASX performs impressively well. Despite measuring just 4.22 metres in length, it offers a boot capacity between 422 and 536 litres, surpassing many of its direct competitors. This makes it an SUV perfectly suited for urban use and weekend getaways alike, combining compact dimensions with generous space and interior comfort.
Aggressive pricing and a five-year warranty
Until the end of the month, the Mitsubishi ASX 100T Motion 2025/2026 is available with a special launch offer of €20,890, provided the customer finances a minimum of €16,000 over 36 months. Moreover, Mitsubishi includes a five-year or 100,000 km warranty, a level of coverage few rivals can match in this price range. All in all, the new ASX 2025 brings together a refreshed design, generous equipment, and clever pricing strategy. It may not be the most powerful or high-tech SUV on the market, but its Japanese reliability and extended warranty make it one of the most compelling choices in the compact SUV segment.
