Lamborghini Manifesto: This Is How the Supercars of the Future Could Look

The prototype celebrates 20 years of the Centro Stile and previews a more radical design language, with details that may appear in upcoming models from the Italian brand.

What will Lamborghinis look like ten or twenty years from now? The Sant’Agata Bolognese firm has attempted to answer that question with the Lamborghini Manifesto, a concept car created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Centro Stile. The design study showcases how the brand’s unique aesthetic DNA could evolve in the coming decades.

A futuristic design with familiar roots

The Manifesto retains recognizable Lamborghini cues, such as its pointed nose and the signature “Y”-shaped lighting, but blends them with fresh ideas: a steeply raked windshield flowing into a double-bubble glass roof, seamlessly merging into the rear end. At the back, a massive diffuser and short rear fenders expose oversized tires, giving the impression of a life-sized Hot Wheels car.

While the lack of doors and a fully glass roof may be impractical in hot climates, the Manifesto is packed with design cues that could inspire future limited-production supercars. Among them are the headlights and taillights, directly inspired by the Fenomeno concept, which look far more production-ready than the rest of the vehicle’s radical styling.

We set trends, we don’t follow them. We must always look ahead, to next year and the next 20 years,” said Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s head of design. His statement underlines the company’s ambition to lead stylistic evolution in the supercar segment, keeping its identity sharp and unique against rivals like Ferrari, McLaren, or Aston Martin.

A celebration with eyes on the future

The concept is part of a wider celebration marking the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini Centro Stile, founded in the early 2000s and responsible for iconic models since 2005. While it’s unlikely we’ll see a successor to the Revuelto or Temerario any time soon, the Manifesto suggests that future one-offs and exclusive editions could incorporate elements of this radical design. A clear sign that Lamborghini is already shaping the supercar of tomorrow.
