INTELLIGENT MOBILITY
Kia dazzles Europe with its all-electric lineup: six models shaping the future of mobility
The South Korean brand shines across the continent with a fully electric range that combines cutting-edge technology, long range, and striking design.
Kia continues its rise in the European market with an EV range made up of six models —EV3, EV4 (in both fastback and hatchback versions), EV5, EV6, and EV9— all developed under a single philosophy: to create electric cars that are practical, efficient, and free of limitations. From the pioneering EV6 to the newly arrived EV9, the brand has proven that electrification can coexist with comfort and driving pleasure.
One of the strongest assets of this range is its remarkable driving range, with most models exceeding 500 kilometers, and even reaching 632 km in the EV4 fastback. In addition, Kia has prioritized fast and easy charging, two key factors that make the transition to electric mobility simpler for drivers throughout Europe.
E-GMP platform and outstanding energy efficiency
At the heart of Kia’s electric success lies the E-GMP modular platform, designed specifically for electric vehicles. Thanks to it, Kia manages to fit high-capacity batteries without compromising cabin or trunk space. The models feature batteries ranging from 58.3 kWh in the standard EV3 to 99.8 kWh in the EV9, with class-leading energy density that helps reduce weight and enhance overall performance. Aerodynamic optimization has also been a focus: the EV4 boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.23, while the larger EV9 still achieves an impressive 0.28. As a result, models like the EV3 and EV4 consume less than 15 kWh/100 km, making them some of the most efficient in their respective categories.
Ultra-fast charging and total connectivity
Another key strength of Kia’s electric lineup is its advanced charging technology. Models built on the 400 V architecture can recharge from 10% to 80% in just 29 minutes, while the EV6 and EV9, featuring 800 V systems and charging rates of up to 240 kW, can achieve the same in as little as 18 and 24 minutes, respectively. The thermal stability of the batteries and the intelligent pre-conditioning system ensure optimal performance even under extreme weather conditions. Together, these innovations make Kia’s EV range one of the most complete and competitive electric offerings in Europe.

Kia Charge ecosystem: making travel and charging effortless
Kia has developed a fully integrated charging ecosystem through its new Kia App, which brings together all charging services —from route planning to automatic payments— in one seamless platform. The Kia Charge network provides access to over one million charging points across 28 European countries, including more than 26,000 in Spain. In addition, the innovative Plug & Charge system allows drivers to start charging automatically upon connecting the cable, with no need for cards or extra apps. This feature ensures a quick, secure, and hassle-free charging experience every time.
The electric future is already here
With this comprehensive lineup, Kia offers more than just electric vehicles —it delivers a new way of understanding mobility. The blend of class-leading range, energy efficiency, ultra-fast charging, and advanced connectivity places the Korean manufacturer firmly at the forefront of the European EV market. Kia’s electric offensive proves that the future is already here —a future that’s technologically brilliant, accessible, and perfectly tailored to the needs of modern European drivers.
