Ebro S900 2026: The new Spanish SUV set to redefine the game

By  |

Larger, more powerful, and plug-in hybrid, it will offer over 100 km of electric range and all-wheel drive.

Spanish manufacturer Ebro continues its comeback in the competitive SUV market with the arrival of its new flagship: the Ebro S900 2026. Bigger, more advanced, and more refined than ever, this model aims to establish Ebro as a serious player once again, combining efficiency, strong performance, and outstanding value for money to rival the best from Europe and Asia.

A new benchmark SUV for the brand

Measuring over 4.80 metres in length, the new Ebro S900 will sit above the current S700 and S800, offering more interior space, technology, and versatility. Developed in close partnership with the Chinese giant Chery, the S900 is based on the successful Tiggo 9 Pro, blending European sophistication with Ebro’s distinct design flair. The result is a truly global SUV with a strong Spanish identity.

Under the bonnet, the S900 2026 will debut a next-generation plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, capable of delivering more than 100 km of pure electric range, placing it among the most advanced models in its class. It will also feature all-wheel drive, likely achieved through a dual-motor setup, ensuring maximum stability and traction across all terrains. Total driving range is expected to reach around 1,400 km, making it ideal for both long-distance journeys and daily commutes.

On the technology front, the Ebro S900 will feature state-of-the-art driver assistance systems, a fully digital infotainment interface, and seamless connectivity with over-the-air updates plus full Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. True to Ebro’s philosophy, it will offer premium-level equipment at a competitive price, starting above €36,990—the entry price of the current S800—yet still undercutting its direct plug-in hybrid SUV rivals.

Currently in its final development phase, the Ebro S900 is undergoing extensive durability and performance testing in extreme conditions ahead of its official debut, expected by late 2025. With this model, the Spanish brand strengthens its commitment to sustainable and intelligent mobility, firmly positioning itself as one of the most promising automotive names in Spain’s new generation of carmakers.
