Bugatti has unveiled one of its most exquisite creations yet: the W16 Mistral “La Perle Rare,” a bespoke roadster that marks a defining chapter in the legendary W16 era .

Created through Bugatti’s Sur Mesure personalization program, this one-of-a-kind model was commissioned by a private client seeking something truly individual. The project began at Pebble Beach in 2023 and evolved into a carefully curated expression of elegance and craftsmanship .

The exterior stands out with a newly developed two-tone finish. A warm, gold-infused hue crowns the upper surfaces, while a refined warm white defines the lower body. The separation is accentuated by delicate white and gold lines, applied through a painstaking hand-painted process that required hundreds of hours . Even the diamond-cut wheels feature a custom finish to mirror the bodywork’s interplay of light.

Inside, the pearl-inspired theme continues. White-painted carbon components, gold detailing, polished aluminum accents, and subtle ambient lighting create a bright, jewel-like cockpit. The “La Perle Rare” signature appears throughout, alongside nods to Bugatti heritage such as the iconic Dancing Elephant motif .
