BMW Unveils M Performance Track Kit for the M2
BMW is taking the M2’s track potential to a new level. The brand has announced a new M Performance Track Kit designed to sharpen handling, boost downforce, and deliver even more capability on closed circuits, while remaining road-legal .
At the heart of the package is a manually adjustable front splitter that works together with the front diffuser to increase downforce. Fixed wheel arch diffusers and a scoop beneath the oil cooler further improve airflow and stability. Around back, the M2 receives a swan neck rear wing inspired by the M4 GT4 and GT3 race cars. The wing offers two angle settings and even features a Race Mode, shifting 50 millimeters rearward for greater aerodynamic effect .
The upgrades go beyond aerodynamics. A threaded chassis with four-way adjustable rebound and compression damping allows drivers to fine-tune the setup. Ride height can be lowered by up to 20 millimeters, and the system remains fully road-legal .
Developed with BMW M specialists and refined in the wind tunnel, the kit will be available to order in the third quarter of 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to launch .
