The C6 Corvette That Won’t Drop Its Price: A “Supercar” with Valarra Kit for Nearly $95,000

By  |

The seller of a modified 2008 C6 Chevrolet Corvette hopes to convince a buyer to spend $70,000 above the going rate.

  • This C6-generation Corvette, transformed by the Valarra body kit, is listed on Car Gurus for $94,991.
  • Underneath the outrageous bodywork, the 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine remains in stock form, delivering 430 hp and 424 lb-ft (575 Nm) of torque.

A Radical Transformation for the Classic C6

This C6-generation Corvette is no longer recognizable as one. It is equipped with a distinctive Valarra body kit. The car almost looks like an all-new supercar, built from the ground up. However, it retains its original underpinnings from 2008.

All of this C6’s original body panels have been replaced with new ones. The front end includes a wild bumper with a pronounced splitter, large air intakes, and thin headlights. The ‘Vette also now sits on aftermarket silver and black wheels. It has all-new sides with unique door skins. The rear-end is particularly wild, where the rear tires are on full display. Also found at the rear is a towering wing and a huge diffuser.

History of Failed Sales and a Questionable Price Tag

The seller hopes to convince someone to spend more than $70,000 above the market price for a normal C6. The vehicle is currently listed for $94,991 on Car Gurus.

Judging by the VIN, this seems to be the very same car that crossed the block at Mecum Auctions in May 2024. On that occasion, bidding fell short of its undisclosed reserve. A few months later, it resurfaced on Cars & Bids. Once again, it was unable to sell, with bidding only reaching $63,475. Clearly, no one is willing to spend a lot of money on this car, yet the current seller is asking almost six figures for it. When the car was first seen last year, it had roughly 77,500 miles under its belt. Now, it has 79,245 miles on the odometer.

Intact LS3 Mechanics

Despite its wild exterior, the 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated LS3 V8 is believed to be in stock form. This means it continues to deliver 430 hp and 424 lb-ft (575 Nm) of torque. Hardly headline-making these days, but surely more than enough to have some fun. If you’ve got a soft spot for outrageous bodywork and a wallet to match, this could be your next questionable life choice.
