Porsche Pays Tribute to Ferdinand Alexander with an Exclusive 911 GT3

The Zuffenhausen firm celebrates the 90th anniversary of the iconic 911 creator with a limited edition inspired by his personal vehicle.

Porsche presents the new 911 GT3 F.A. Porsche in honor of its greatest legend. This edition pays a special tribute to the father of the 911 for his 90th birthday. The design takes direct inspiration from the G-Body model that Ferdinand drove during the 1980s. The bodywork features a bespoke F.A. metallic green paint created specifically for this occasion. This shade modernizes the oak green metallic color found on Ferdinand’s original car.

Exclusive Design Details and Classic Heritage

The personalized cabin incorporates a high-quality exclusive fabric called F.A. Grid-Weave. This upholstery provides a modern interpretation of the classic traditional houndstooth pattern. The interior stands out with a handcrafted wooden knob for the manual gear lever. Elegant Sport Classic wheels display the brand’s classic crest on their center caps. Door panels show the ’72’ emblem in honor of Porsche Design.

High-Performance Engineering and Maximum Exclusivity

The mechanical base corresponds to the powerful 911 GT3 equipped with the understated Touring package. Its 4-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine generates 510 hp of maximum power. The powertrain sends all force to the rear axle through six manual gears. A special golden badge and the ’90’ inscription decorate the rear of the vehicle. Mark Porsche helped lead this exciting project to honor his father’s personal taste. Each owner will receive a matching Chronograph 1 watch and a weekend travel bag.
