NISSAN TEANA 2026: The Luxury Sedan That Transforms into a Smartphone with HUAWEI Technology

This sedan combines a sophisticated design, Nissan’s signature engine technology, and disruptive connectivity

The new Nissan Teana’s most innovative feature is its focus on connectivity. The smart cabin operates similarly to a smartphone inside the vehicle thanks to the Huawei HarmonySpace5.0 system. Nissan has implemented this system as standard equipment across all versions sold in China.

This technological core is managed through an impressive 15.6-inch Huawei smart screen. This screen is classified as the largest in its class. Furthermore, the system integrates an Artificial Intelligence (AI) voice assistant with high-precision voice recognition capabilities. Finally, to ensure a perpetually updated digital experience, the Teana’s smart cabin supports over-the-air (OTA) updates.

Cutting-Edge Performance with VC-Turbo Engine

In terms of performance, the Teana uses Nissan’s flagship technology. The 2.0-liter VC-Turbo variable compression ratio engine powers the vehicle. This powertrain is designed to offer powerful and stable performance under diverse driving conditions. Specifically, the engine delivers a maximum output of 243 PS and a peak torque of 371 Nm.

Sophisticated Design and Focus on Comfort

The sedan was conceived with a design that merges the simple with the sophisticated. The aesthetic achieves an elegant, elongated, and refined appearance. A notable exterior design element is the “starlight ring” LED. This extends from the center of the front grille and merges with the headlights. The vehicle will be offered in China with two exclusive body colors : Sandstone Gray and Phantom Purple.

The interior focuses on creating the feeling of a smart home in motion. The luxury of the materials is evident. Approximately 90% of the interior surface is covered with soft padding. For personalization, ambient lighting has been installed, allowing up to 256 color configurations. Seat comfort is key, as the spacious interior facilitates a relaxed and comfortable posture. The seats include spinal support, ventilation, memory, and massage capabilities. Additionally, they are complemented by a fully adjustable footrest.

Safety and Immersive Acoustic Experience

Night driving safety is enhanced by the dual-projector LED headlights. These headlights have the ability to illuminate up to 230 meters. This is the longest distance in its class. Furthermore, the Teana is equipped with Level 2 driver assistance systems. This equipment offers top-level active safety features in its segment.

Finally, the acoustic experience is immersive. This is achieved through a sound system co-developed with HUAWEI SOUND. The system includes 15 speakers as standard. The top-of-the-line version offers 17 speakers. To ensure a silent environment, all doors are equipped with double-layer soundproof glass. This insulation creates an atmosphere similar to a movie theater, even at high speeds.

The new Teana will be sold in China with a price range between 139.9 and 167.9 thousand RMB. This figure is equivalent to about 438,675.86 Mexican pesos.
