New ICH-X K3 2026: the 245-hp off-roader that costs half as much as a Toyota Land Cruiser and aims to conquer Spain

A tough, affordable SUV with unmistakable British flair
ICH-X’s arrival in Spain is picking up speed, and the new K3 stands as its most ambitious model yet. The brand, part of the Italian DR Automobiles group, sells Chinese-built vehicles at highly competitive prices. This K3, unmistakably inspired by the Land Rover Defender, signals the brand’s intention to carve out space in the segment of true off-roaders, while its “brother,” the K2, targets the Jeep Wrangler with a more traditional diesel-powered formula.
The major shift in the K3 comes from its bi-fuel gasoline/LPG engine, delivering 245 hp (or 238 hp when running on LPG), a strategy clearly aimed at securing the DGT Eco badge and reducing running costs. But the real headline is its price: it costs less than half of a Toyota Land Cruiser, which starts at over €87,900 in Spain.
Generous equipment and a price that shakes up the segment
In Spain, the official price of the ICH-X K3 sits slightly above €58,000 before discounts. However, in Italy it has already been announced with a promotional price of €43,900, a figure that’s nearly impossible for its direct rivals to match. The model is based on the Jetour Traveller –a product from the Chinese giant Chery– and features a seven-speed dual-clutch DCT gearbox, Real Time 4WD with multiple driving modes, and a locking differential, all hallmarks of a serious off-roader.
Respectable off-road performance for a family-oriented approach
While the ICH-X K3 isn’t as extreme as the K2, it offers more than respectable off-road capabilities: 22 cm of ground clearance, a 20-degree approach angle, and a 30-degree departure angle. It won’t break any records, but it certainly meets expectations for those seeking occasional adventure without sacrificing on-road comfort.
Technology and design with a clear Defender influence
When it comes to equipment, the K3 delivers: 19-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, a massive 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and a wide suite of driver-assistance systems that bring it close to much more expensive models. All of this comes in a 4.79-metre-long body with angular lines that strongly evoke the latest Land Rover Defender –a stylistic nod that works in its favour in such an emotionally driven segment.
