Renault 2026: the major product offensive redefining its future in Europe
The French manufacturer accelerates its transformation with strategic launches and new technologies set to shape the European market.

A decisive year of change for Renault

Renault heads into 2026 with a fully renewed lineup, despite a turbulent start to the year marked by Luca de Meo’s unexpected resignation and the appointment of François Provost. Even so, 2025 will close as a strong year for the brand, boosted by the arrival of the Twingo E-Tech, the return of the Clio and the overwhelming success of the R5 E-Tech, which has already surpassed 100,000 units produced in just 15 months. With this momentum, the product offensive scheduled for next year arrives loaded with key models.

Renault Clio VI: more technology, more efficiency and no more diesel

The new Renault Clio VI, first revealed at the Munich Motor Show, is already on sale from €18,900, with deliveries scheduled for early 2026. The supermini bids farewell to diesel once and for all, focusing on modern powertrains: the 115 hp 1.2 TCe petrol engine and the 160 hp E-Tech full hybrid, which guarantees the Eco badge and improved performance. Later, the bifuel ECO-G 120 version (petrol and LPG) will join the range, available with either a manual gearbox or the EDC dual-clutch automatic. With its Evolution, Techno and esprit Alpine trims, the Clio aims to remain one of the most complete urban models in its segment.

Renault Twingo E-Tech: an electric comeback that blends retro charm with modern innovation

After bowing out in 2024, the Twingo returns completely reinvented: electric, retro-inspired and smarter than ever. Built on the AmpR Small platform, the new Twingo E-Tech features an 82 hp electric motor and a 27.5 kWh battery offering an official range of 263 km. Its design draws heavily from the iconic first generation, combining nostalgia with a forward-looking urban concept. In Italy, pricing starts at €19,500, a figure expected to be nearly identical in Spain.

Renault 4 E-Tech 4×4 and the updated Mégane: what’s next?

Although Renault has yet to officially confirm it, all signs suggest a 4×4 version of the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric will arrive in 2026, previewed earlier this year by the Renault 4 Savane 4×4 concept. If the brand follows its current roadmap, this could become one of the most distinctive electric off-roaders in the compact segment, aimed at young and adventurous buyers.

What comes after: Mégane E-Tech facelift and an all-new Captur

Renault’s medium-term plans also include a facelift for the Mégane E-Tech, expected during the first half of 2026, bringing improvements in efficiency, interior quality and connectivity. The next major launch will be the third-generation Captur, planned for 2027–a crucial model in terms of sales volume and positioning. With all these developments, Renault is preparing for one of the most ambitious product cycles in its recent history, firmly positioning itself to lead Europe’s electrification and design landscape.
