Lexus reveals the Model Year 2026 of its RX SUV with important mechanical changes to adapt to the Euro 6-bis emission standards

The new Lexus RX unveils its Model Year 2026 and adapts to the Euro 6-bis emission regulations. The most significant change is observed in the plug-in hybrid version, the RX 450h+, which now “settles” for 292 hp, saying goodbye to its previous 309 hp.

This version, paired with the e-CVT gearbox , accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h. The RX 450h+ achieves a fuel consumption of 3.3 liters per 100 km. This is possible thanks to an 18.1 kWh battery that provides 67 km of electric range.

Conventional Hybrid Options and Trim Range

For those who prefer a conventional hybrid, the 371 hp turbo RX 500h is maintained. This version also incorporates all-wheel drive, but is coupled with the six-speed automatic transmission. The RX 500h completes the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and reaches 210 km/h. Furthermore, it registers a consumption of 8.1 liters per 100 km and features the Eco label.

Customers have the option to choose up to five different trim levels: Business, Executive+, F Design, Luxury, and the sporty F SPORT. The Business trim includes 8 airbags, e-Latch electronic door opening, power seats, and high beam assist. It also features a rear camera, three-zone climate control, and voice commands.

Highlighted Equipment and Technology

The Lexus RX equipment adds a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 14-inch navigation system. Also included are 19-inch wheels, Bi-LED headlights, and ambient lighting. The model features electrically folding mirrors, a Panasonic audio system with 12 speakers, and synthetic leather upholstery. Finally, it integrates the LSS+3 safety system.
