Ford Bronco V6: The Definitive 335 HP Off-Roader with 3-Door Body that Europe Doesn’t Know

By  |

The Ford Bronco’s arrival in Europe makes it possible to enjoy one of the wildest off-road vehicles of the moment

Currently, the Ford Bronco Sport, an SUV-focused model with a cheaper price, did not reach Europe. The three-door versions and the variants with the 2.3 EcoBoost engine of the Bronco were also not included.

The current price in Spain for the Ford Bronco is 87,095 euros, a figure positioned between the Toyota Land Cruiser (starting at 87,950 euros) and the Jeep Wrangler 4xe (75,950 euros). However, those competitors offer less passionate engines, being a four-cylinder turbodiesel and a plug-in hybrid, respectively.

Ford’s Best-Prepared Off-Road Vehicle

The situation is different when looking towards the United States. There, the three-door Ford Bronco is offered starting at only $39,995 (34,303 euros converted) with the 2.3 four-cylinder 305 hp engine.

For a considerably lower price than its rivals in Europe, Ford makes the impressive Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition available. This variant starts at $75,635 (about 64,877 euros).

V6 Performance and Off-Road Equipment

The Bronco Stroppe Edition stands out for the performance of its 2.7 V6 engine, which develops 335 hp of power. This engine delivers no less than 563 Nm of maximum torque. This mechanism is supported by all-wheel drive with a low range gearbox and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

This model is based on the three-door Wildtrack version. Built upon this base, it adds specific exterior and interior trim and a detachable front stabilizer bar. Furthermore, it includes HOSS 3.0 suspension with Fox shocks and 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires.
