Chevrolet takes a major step forward in the electrification of commercial transport in Latin America with the launch of a zero-emissions van focused on efficiency, load capacity, and modern technology.

Chevrolet has officially begun sales in Mexico of the all-new Express Max EV 2026, a fully electric van designed for professionals and businesses looking to reduce operating costs without sacrificing payload, versatility, or reliability. Closely aligned with the global energy transition—now evident even in modern Formula 1—the American brand proves that electrification is no longer limited to passenger cars, but is rapidly reshaping the commercial vehicle segment as well.

Class-Leading Electric Performance and Driving Range

Under the hood, the Express Max EV features an electric motor delivering 204 hp and 33.5 kgm of torque, paired with front-wheel drive. Chevrolet offers two battery configurations tailored to different operational needs: the Short Wheelbase version, with a 77 kWh battery and an estimated range of 277 km, and the Long Wheelbase version, equipped with an 88.8 kWh battery capable of reaching up to 302 km on a single charge, both figures based on the EPA testing cycle. These numbers position the Express Max EV among the most competitive electric vans in its segment.

Cargo capacity is one of its strongest selling points. The Express Max EV provides up to 8.7 m³ of cargo volume and a payload capacity of 1,480 kg, making it an ideal solution for urban deliveries, logistics operations, and service fleets. Practicality is enhanced by a sliding side door and rear doors with up to 180 degrees of opening, ensuring quick and easy access to the load area in demanding work environments.

Inside, Chevrolet focuses on functional comfort and connectivity. The cabin is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a driver’s seat offering 10-way manual adjustment and straightforward manual climate control. Safety equipment includes dual front airbags, disc brakes with ABS and EBD, reverse sensors, and an HD rearview camera, delivering essential protection and confidence in daily use.

The Chevrolet Express Max EV 2026 is now available through the Chevrolet EV dealer network in Mexico, with pricing set at 1,078,400 pesos for the Short Wheelbase version and 1,157,900 pesos for the Long Wheelbase version. A well-rounded electric commercial vehicle that confirms the future of professional transport will be cleaner, more efficient, and increasingly technology-driven.
