INEOS Grenadier Game Viewer: The Ultimate Safari 4×4 Coming in 2026

The luxury safari 4×4 will begin production in 2026, following the success of the prototypes showcased in 2024.

The INEOS Grenadier Game Viewer, a safari vehicle designed for the toughest environments, is set to become a reality. After the success of the prototypes presented in 2024, INEOS has announced that production of this professional 4×4 will begin in early 2026. Designed specifically for luxury safaris and operators in nature reserves, this model promises to redefine the field experience.

A safari-specific design: The Grenadier Game Viewer was created from scratch to meet the growing demand for professional vehicles that operate in extreme conditions. Developed by INEOS Kavango in Botswana, this 4×4 retains the rugged chassis of the original Grenadier, but it has been adapted with a safari-specific design. The safari version has no modifications to the base structure, ensuring extreme reliability on any terrain. The model can accommodate between four and nine passengers, with elevated seats for optimal visibility during excursions.

The heart of this vehicle lies in its customization. Depending on the client’s needs, the seating layout, roof configuration, and even the cargo space can be adjusted. This flexibility is one of the key advantages, allowing each unit to be tailored to the specific requirements of safaris, luxury lodges, or nature reserves.

The project came about almost by accident: the idea for the Grenadier was born a decade ago during a safari in Botswana. After several years of research and development, INEOS launched its semi-finished production version of the 4×4 in 2022. This model arrived from the Hambach plant (France) missing key elements such as paint, side windows, or rear seats, which allowed INEOS Kavango to perform a specific conversion for safari use without altering its structural durability.

The future of production: The joint efforts of the Hambach and Maun plants have transformed this concept into a fully functional vehicle ready for daily use. The first test units will be sent in the coming weeks to the Hiddn Lodge, a new luxury resort in South Africa, where they will be tested in real-world conditions. Starting in 2026, INEOS will begin mass production of the Grenadier Game Viewer, marking the start of a new era for 4×4 vehicles specialized for safaris and operations in extreme environments.
