Chevrolet Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary with the Stars & Steel Collection: Patriotism, Performance, and Purpose
The iconic American brand looks ahead to 2026 with a special-edition lineup defined by exclusive design, national pride, and a strong commitment to supporting veterans.

Chevrolet has decided to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States in grand style, a historic milestone that will be officially celebrated in 2026. Under the name Stars & Steel Collection, the bowtie brand is launching a special series featuring American flag–inspired graphics and a clear message of national pride and American craftsmanship. The move is no coincidence: according to Chevrolet, nearly 87 percent of Americans live within reach of a Chevrolet dealership, reinforcing the brand’s role as a cornerstone of the country’s automotive culture.
Stars & Steel: Exclusive Design with Real Support for Veterans

Beyond the visuals, the most important news lies in Chevrolet’s social commitment. The company will donate $250 for every Stars & Steel vehicle sold to nonprofit organizations that support the veteran community. That promise is taken even further with the centerpiece of the collection: a one-of-one 2026 Corvette ZR1X, set to be auctioned in January at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, with 100 percent of the final sale price donated to Tunnel to Towers, a nonprofit that assists the families of fallen first responders and injured veterans.
The Corvette lineup will be particularly exclusive, as only 250 Stars & Steel Corvettes will be built, available from the Stingray all the way up to the extreme ZR1X, provided they are specified in 3LT or 3LZ trim. Buyers can choose between Arctic White over Santorini Blue or Black over Adrenaline Red, complemented by a full-length flag-inspired center stripe, “250” badging, individual build numbers, blacked-out exhaust tips, and a cabin finished with red accents and contrast stitching.
Truck enthusiasts are not left out. Chevrolet will offer the Stars & Steel Edition on the Silverado, Silverado HD, and Silverado EV, all featuring patriotic graphics and model-specific wheel sizes: 24-inch wheels on the Silverado EV, 22-inch wheels on the light-duty Silverado, and 20-inch wheels on the heavy-duty diesel. The Colorado Trail Boss Crew Cab also joins the lineup with a Stars & Steel Special Edition, adding a sport bar with integrated light bar, skid plates, a spray-on bedliner, the technology package, and a soft bed cover.
Pricing has not yet been announced, but Chevrolet has confirmed that production will begin in early spring 2026, meaning these special-edition vehicles should be on the road just in time for Fourth of July celebrations. With the Stars & Steel Collection, Chevrolet blends history, American performance, and genuine social impact—proving that even in an era of electrification and advanced technology, the automobile remains a powerful symbol of national identity.
