El TLX es el mismo sedán basado en el Honda Accord, pero renovado el estilo de TLX para ponerlo al día con los temas actuales de diseño de la compañía. Los cambios en otros lugares son relativamente modestos.

La edición Acura TLX PMC es una fórmula para el final del ciclo de vida, antes de lanzar el modelo de automóvil de nueva generación, agregando pintura especial, algunas toques y dejes, con el agregado de todas las opciones disponibles. Solo 360 estarán disponibles en total.

La Edición PMC, que toma prestada su sigla del centro de fabricación de rendimiento de Acura, es ensamblada a mano por los mismos técnicos que ensamblan el NSX y construida en la misma línea que el NSX, en el Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) de Honda en Marysville, Ohio.

El equipo de PMC luego somete el automóvil al mismo riguroso proceso de control de calidad que el NSX antes de enviarlo al concesionario envuelto en una elegante cubierta de automóvil.

Estilos y Opciones

Elegir un Acura TLX es sencillo. Puede obtenerlo con un motor de cuatro cilindros o V6 y un par de paquetes opcionales. Los modelos de cuatro cilindros solo tienen tracción delantera y están disponibles en tres versiones: TLX 2.4L (base), TLX 2.4L con paquete de tecnología y TLX 2.4L A-Spec.

Los modelos V6 tienen un aspecto similar: TLX 3.5L (ajuste de la base), TLX 3.5L con paquete tecnológico y TLX 3.5L A-Spec. También hay un TLX 3.5L adicional con paquete Advance. La tracción total es opcional solo para los modelos V6.

La base TLX 2.4L incluyen faros LED, rines de 17 pulgadas, techo solar, control de clima automático de doble zona, tapicería de cuero simulada y Asientos delanteros con calefacción y ajuste eléctrico.

El TLX 2.4L A-Spec agrega llantas de 19 pulgadas, llantas más anchas, tapicería de cuero negro o rojo y elementos de acabado exteriores únicos, un alerón negro en la cubierta inferior difusor, doble escape y faros antiniebla LED.

El TLX 3.5L A-Spec combina las características del paquete de tecnología con algunas características del paquete Advance, junto con una suspensión deportiva, ruedas de 19 pulgadas, dirección más rápida y piezas de acabado exteriores únicas.

La nueva edición PMC combina las características del paquete Advance con elementos de diseño A-Spec y tratamientos exclusivos de la edición PMC. 

Estos incluyen un único color de pintura de alta intensidad (Valencia Red Pearl) que de otro modo solo se encuentra en el súper deportivo NSX de Acura, ruedas únicas de 19 pulgadas y tapicería de cuero negro con costuras rojas e inserciones de gamuza sintética. 

Tren de potencia

El TLX 2.4L viene con un motor de 2.4 litros con 206 caballos de fuerza, 182 libras pies de torque, acoplado a una transmisión automática de doble embrague de ocho velocidades con paletas de cambios y tracción delantera.

Los modelos TLX 3.5L son, apropiadamente, impulsados por un V6 de 3.5 litros con 290 caballos de fuerza, 267 libras pies de torque, conectado a una transmisión automática de nueve velocidades

La edición PMC solo está disponible con el V6 y tracción total.

Diseño de Interiores  

El interior del PMC está equipado con asientos de cuero Milano negros con inserciones de Alcantara más ribete negro y costuras rojas para los asientos, paneles de las puertas y apoyabrazos central. El volante de cuero negro perforado incluye paletas de metal acabadas.

El asiento acolchado del conductor proporciona una amplia comodidad para los viajes de varias horas. El asiento trasero ofrece espacio para las piernas generoso, pero los pasajeros más altos no tendrán espacio libre.

Como era de esperar, hay más toques únicos en la cabina del PMC, incluidos asientos deportivos especiales, molduras A-Spec y, por supuesto, una insignia para hacerle saber es un PMC. A pesar de todo eso, es difícil no notar el interior anticuado del TLX. 

Los pilares delanteros del techo de TLX causan problemas de visibilidad hacia adelante. Los pilares traseros son más grandes y pueden ocultar un vehículo si está en el lugar equivocado, pero el sistema de advertencia del punto ciego ayuda.

Igualmente ofrece un paquete que está bien montado y atractivo por dentro y por fuera. Todos los botones y botones se sienten de alta calidad. Los controles de entretenimiento no son tan prácticos ni fáciles como algunos competidores, pero ofrecen una funcionalidad similar.  

El diseño de doble pantalla permite una amplia visualización de la información, como por ejemplo, mapas y audio simultáneamente, el control de una sola perilla carece de funcionalidad e intuición de muchos rivales. El sistema ELS es una actualización de sonido envolvente verdaderamente de lujo.

El tamaño del maletero es mayor que el de la mayoría de los competidores. También tiene un asiento trasero plegable 60/40-split que se pliega casi plano.

Seguridad

Las características de seguridad estándar incluyen frenos antibloqueo de disco, control de estabilidad y control de tracción, una cámara de vista trasera, airbags laterales en los asientos delanteros, airbags laterales de cortina, un airbag de rodilla del conductor y apoyacabezas delanteros activos. 

El PMC incluye sensores de estacionamiento, un sistema de alerta de punto ciego, alerta de carril de salida, carril de mantenimiento de la asistencia, de advertencia de colisión y frenado automático para la mitigación de colisión frontal.

Además agrega el conjunto de características de asistencia al conductor llamado AcuraWatch, que incluye advertencia e intervención de salida de carril, advertencia de colisión frontal, frenado automático de emergencia, mitigación de salida de carretera, control de crucero adaptado y control automático de luz de carretera.

En carretera

El TLX PMC no es el auto de carreras, pero cumple su cometido, ya que su motor V6 no turbo de 290 hp, es una suave bala, por su solides y ligereza. 

La transmisión automática de 9 velocidades no comete errores, y el AWD Super-manejo del automóvil es excepcional en mal tiempo sobre todo durante una tormenta. La respuesta de la dirección es buena en la mayoría de las situaciones.

En la carretera el TLX PMC es fuerte y cómodo, ya que disfrutará de largos recorridos sin sentirse para nada incómodo. Pero no es tan deportivo su andar, como otros sedanes deportivos de su competencia, ya que su manejo se asemeja más a un automóvil de lujo. Claro, no es malo si busca más comodidad que deportividad. 

El peso está ajustado apropiadamente, pero la sensación es carente. El rendimiento de la dirección de la rueda trasera en la mayoría de las situaciones es normal, aunque puede ser incómodo en curvas largas.

Los baches en el camino y los golpes fuertes se suprimen bien, y el auto muestra una gran compostura cuando se lo arroja de lado a lado. La cancelación activa de ruido también ayuda a silenciar su interior.

La afinación del chasis del TLX y la dirección de las cuatro ruedas mejorarán el manejo. Es fácil de conducir y fácil de conducir con la ciudad y la autopista. Varios modos de accionamiento permiten ajustar según sus necesidades según las carreteras que circules. S

Así que si se toma en cuenta su valor junto con su comportamiento de conducción deportiva, confort para todos los días y la fiabilidad de la marca, el  Acura TLX es sin duda una buena opción, y si consigue un PMC, ni le cuento.

Lewis Hamilton finally delivered the result Ferrari had been waiting for.

The seven-time Formula 1 world champion secured his first Grand Prix victory with the Scuderia after a perfectly executed race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Combining strong pace with an aggressive strategy, Hamilton ended Mercedes’ winning streak and reignited Ferrari’s championship ambitions.

The victory also came at a crucial moment in the title fight as championship leader Kimi Antonelli suffered a late retirement after running comfortably inside the top three.

Lewis Hamilton secured his first Formula 1 victory as a Ferrari driver with a dominant performance in Barcelona.

Ferrari’s Strategy Changes The Race

Starting alongside pole-sitter George Russell, Hamilton was unable to challenge for the lead at the first corner despite beginning the race on the softer tire compound.

However, Ferrari’s strategic approach soon began to pay dividends.

The team committed to a bold three-stop strategy while many of its rivals focused on two stops. The gamble proved decisive when a Virtual Safety Car period allowed Hamilton to make his final stop with minimal time loss.

From that point forward, the Ferrari driver controlled the race and steadily increased his advantage over Russell.

Ferrari’s aggressive strategy and flawless pit execution helped Hamilton secure his breakthrough victory with the Scuderia.

Mercedes Finally Beaten

Mercedes arrived in Spain as the dominant force of the 2026 season.

Russell converted his strong weekend pace into pole position and initially looked capable of extending the team’s winning streak. But as tire degradation became a major factor, Ferrari’s alternative strategy gradually shifted the balance of power.

Although Russell drove a solid race and collected valuable points, he ultimately had no answer for Hamilton’s pace in the final stages.

He crossed the line in second place, ending a weekend that started with so much promise.

Antonelli Suffers A Major Championship Blow

The biggest drama unfolded in the closing laps.

Kimi Antonelli spent much of the afternoon fighting near the front and eventually overtook Russell to move into second position. The Mercedes driver appeared set for another strong result before disaster struck.

A mechanical issue forced Antonelli to slow dramatically before pulling off the circuit only a few laps from the finish.

The retirement represented one of the most costly moments of his season and handed Ferrari an unexpected opportunity to reduce the championship deficit.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli suffered a late retirement after running inside the top positions for most of the race.

Norris Completes Historic British Podium

Lando Norris benefited from Antonelli’s retirement to move into third place and secure another important result for McLaren.

The outcome produced Formula 1’s first all-British podium since 1968, with Hamilton, Russell and Norris occupying the top three positions.

Oscar Piastri added more points for McLaren in fifth, while Max Verstappen finished fourth for Red Bull.

Elsewhere, Pierre Gasly delivered an impressive seventh-place finish for Alpine, while Franco Colapinto dropped from eighth to tenth after receiving a post-race time penalty.

Hamilton, Russell and Norris delivered Formula 1’s first all-British podium in nearly six decades.

Ferrari Builds Momentum Heading To Austria

Beyond the victory itself, Ferrari leaves Barcelona with renewed confidence.

Hamilton’s success demonstrated that the team now has the pace, strategy and execution required to challenge Mercedes consistently. Combined with Antonelli’s retirement, the result injects fresh excitement into both championship battles.

Formula 1 now heads to the Austrian Grand Prix with momentum shifting toward Ferrari and with Hamilton finally celebrating his first Grand Prix victory in red.
