The 2020 Audi S4 Prestige is simply AWESOME

Out of all the cars we’ve driven over the past years we’d have to say that the S4 Prestige is one of the best looking and fastest ones out there. Sure, it does not have as much horsepower as some of the others, but horsepower is just one part of the equation. 

The S4 Prestige brings a certain refinement, ease and comfort to acceleration and handling that’s unsurpassed in our opinion. It is one of the best cars that 2020 had to offer with speed and excellent handling being its most prominent features, but there is more! 

What Makes the S4 Prestige Special?

The S4 Prestige is a sporty sedan that’s arguably the best German car available in the US. While its aggressive styling isn’t in stark contrast to that of the cheaper Audi A4, the difference maker here is the power. The S4 comes equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine outputting 349 horses. So, most people will not see it coming until it hits them, to us, that means turning heads not because the S4 is outrageously gorgeous but because it appears to be an A4 on steroids. 

The Precision Driving Experience 

The 2020 Audi S4 Prestige is all about precision. It is snappy, going from 0-60 in just 4.3 seconds. The acceleration is smooth, thanks to the eight-speed auto tranny. The feel is nimble and yet well rooted; you can’t help but feel as though the car is hugging the road with its massive 19-inch tires. 

The Quattro all-wheel-drive with grippy summer tires makes taking it around tight bends at high speeds a breeze. However, when you need it to transition from sporty to driving to a more luxurious cruise, it does that with the switch of a button. Put it in Comfort mode, and things take a 360-degree turn for the best. The dynamic steering adjusts the wheel mainly depending on what you’re trying to do, which gives you a more granular feeling of the vehicle. 

The Feel Inside 

Let’s face it when you buy the 2020 Audi S4 Prestige you expect nothing short of the best, and in all honesty, it does not disappoint. Its premium materials across the dashboard, doors, handles, even the shifter feels smooth with soft-touch materials and carbon-fibre trim. 

We’d strongly lean in favor of spending an extra grand on getting the diamond-stitched Nappa leather seats, which are supportive and very comfortable. You’ll thank us on long interstate drives. The lower back massager, for the most part, makes up for the absence of ventilated seats in our experience. 

The other significant update to the interior is Audi’s MIB 3 system controls the infotainment system with a sharp 10.1-inch screen. This time around the system is 10x times faster, which is noticeable in how well it responds to touch inputs. Plus it completes destination searches and calculates routes in a fraction of a second. Paired with premium 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen speakers, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Wi-Fi hotspot, there is not much else you’d want!  

Final Verdict 

The 2020 Audi S4 Prestige is one of the best vehicles that Audi has to offer. The sedan is sporty, fast, comfortable and offers the type of handling most people dream of at a competitive price bracket which makes it hard for us not to recommend.
